RESEARCH INTERESTS

Associate Professor in Cognitive Neurosciences at Grenoble Alpes University, my research focuses on two areas.

1) Study of cognitive mechanisms and brain correlates underlying the links between emotion and action using a multimodal approach combining experimental and technical methods from cognitive psychology (behaviors, oculometry), cognitive neurosciences (neuroimaging, central and peripheral neurophysiological measurements), signal processing and neuropsychology. The axis is addressed in healthy people during normal and pathological aging and in patients with frontal, emotional and motor disorders (e.g. bipolarity, schizophrenia, parkinson).

2) Characterization of behavioral and neurophysiological markers (central and peripheral) specific to cognitive states (emotional states, mental load, consciousness, attention, etc.) for a real-time estimation of those states for health applications and passive brain-machine interfaces in ecological situations.

Keywords : Emotion, motivation, action, visual perception, biomarkers, neurophysiology and neuroimaging ( EEG, fMRI, neurovegetative activities), ocular activities, signal processing, Aging, bipolarity, Schizophrenia, Parkinson.
