Research interests

My research topic aims at understanding how are emotional events, especially emotional facial expressions, processed, and how they can be linked to higher social behaviors (other-race effet, empathy). My work combines multiple frameworks such as Psychology, Computational Neurosciences and Cognitive Neurosciences with the use of both behavioral experiments (eye-tracking), EEG and artificial neural networks.

Next to that i’m particularly interested in the study of eye movements as a reflection of numerous cognitive functions.

Keywords : Emotional facial expressions, Neural Networks, EEG, other-race effect, Eye-Tracking.
